education tourist
Only a couple of weeks now until my trip to India begins, its all pretty exciting. Do they have cheese in India do you think?
For a while now I've been looking for the opportunity to extend my IT qualifications and also build up paragliding air time somewhere agreeable, and India, perhaps bizarrely, offers the chance to do both.
Technology wise, and in a host of other ways, India is booming, I cant help but think that this country of over a billion people is a pretty cool place right now. Of all the places offering IT training, which includes the UK, USA and South Africa, India is by far the cheapest, and I just can't resist the opportunity to study in an old colonial hill-station perched high in the Himalayan mountains?
More about this later, in the meantime checkout the website of Koenig Solutions, the outfit I will be studying with later this year.

A Yorkshire stonemason was approached by a grieving husband.
"I'd like you to etch a message on my late wife's tombstone" he said.
"No problem" answered the stonemason - "what message would you like?"
"Something simple and meaningful" said the husband ...
" 'She was Thine' will be fitting"
The husband visited the grave some weeks later and was somewhat surprised.
"She were Thin" was etched on the tombstone.
He went to see the mason who wasn't at home, so he left a message:
"The etching is missing an 'e'"
Later, he revisited the grave and the tombstone now read:
" 'E She were Thin"
haha cheers John.
perhaps I should have a blog just for Yorkshire sayings, trouble is I think I'd be spending all my time explaining them!
